Called an order ahead and they had it ready in 15 minutes!

+ The food was pretty good, I got the spicy chicken and you get a lot of food for a good price. The chicken did have a kick to it.

+ Location is clean but I preferred to take my meal to go and not eat there.

It's a good place if you're looking for something quick - I would return if I'm in the area again.

My friends and I came here for lunch during a visit to Denver University. The food was extremely warm and delicious, and really boosted our moods on the cold day we came. The people were incredibly polite and kind, and made us feel welcome in their restaurant. The food tasted fresh, and was a really great price! I would definitely recommend going here when you're in town, it's worth the stop!

This is based on one menu item and my experience this one time. I've been visiting this place since the early 2000s. I cannot begin to tell you how it pains me to write this review. I used to LOVE this place. Its been awhile since I've been here but when did this place change so much? Change is good, not always necessarily for the better though. Spicy chicken bowl has always been my go to here. The chicken of the past was not saucy like it is now but more heavily seasoned and grilled. I don't know how to explain it. Either way I am not a fan of this new style that lacked flavor and was not spicy at all. I had to pull out the sriracha for today's meal. They were very nice in the store and I'm sorry to write this but maybe you can please please bring back the old spicy chicken bowl?

After a nightmare überEats fiasco earlier this evening, (not the fault of this little restaurant) I decided to head in to place my order for take out.

The food is always delicious here and the staff is also kind and patient. I feel like I've strolled into a little Tokyo noodle shop every time I stop in.

Asahi is offered here, which makes it an authentic Japanese joint. If Asahi isn't offered in a "Japanese" restaurant I usually blow it off as one of those fake Japanese restaurants with a lucky cat on the top display shelf.

    No lucky cat here.

    This is a Korean/Japanese establishment.

The curries are delicious and so is the beef short ribs. They excel in both cuisines.

I'm currently awaiting my order while sipping on a nice bottle of Asahi. It's pretty much heaven.

I've already forgotten why I would have ordered delivery in the first place. It's worth it to spend even a few minutes here.

Thanks for the consistently great food and stellar service Tokyo Bowl!

    I'll be back soon.

To give it a one star review is an exaggeration of how awful this food was. Not only did the staff miss one of the topping on my plate but also served old tasting cold bibimbap to my boyfriend. Never going there again.
